HELP - Preserving DFM history through a controller upgrade

Hello

We have an upcoming controller upgrade that will take a customer through 7.3.6 to 8.1.2 which is being monitored by DFM 4.0.X

If i remember right, as long as we do not change the IP address and HostName, DFM should be able to accept the new system ID and keep monitoring as normal.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Since they are running 4.0.X DFM, I am advising them to hold off on upgrading to 5.2.X until their controller upgrade is 100% complete ( storage health check, iSCSI, etc ).

Thoughts?
