Hi Emanuel,

The CP counters are diag counters that can be enabled for monitoring once you've enabled the option "perfAdvisorShowDiagCounters". In your case I believe it's enabled, which is why you are able to see these counters on the first place. However, (AFAIK) Performance Advisor does not support setting thresholds on these CP counters.

Thanks and regards

shiva raja

Yes Shiva is right, it’s a diag counter and you are seeing it because you have enabled the below option.

dfm options set perfAdvisorShowDiagCounters=yes

Back to Back CP is a label counter and Perf Advisor doesn’t support creating thresholds on label counter.

Regards

adai

Emanuel & Richard:

One clarification is required. User can monitor the latency/throughput counters as the cp counter is going to affect these two values. Isn't that true? Could you please elobarate on how the threshold on back to back cp counters helps?

btw, Are there any other diag counters other than back to back cp counter which could be useful?
