    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Peter,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sounds like Active Directory may not be running on the same host as WFA.&amp;nbsp; If not, you need to point WFA to one of the domain controllers with &lt;A href="https://community.netapp.com/" target="_blank"&gt;ldap://&amp;lt;dc_host_name&amp;gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dave&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi folks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i'm trying to use active directory for&amp;nbsp; authentication, but if i set the ldap server to&amp;nbsp; ldap:///&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; as per the docs, it won't let me in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;looking at the logs it seems to be trying to connect to localhost:389&amp;nbsp; - but getting connection refused.&amp;nbsp; i don't think there's a service running on that port&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there anything i have to /enable/ to have this working on windows server 2008r2 ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
