Command to add a VM into a DataSet

Is there a way using dfm/dfpm to add a VM into a DataSet ?

I'm trying to automate the management of the VMs in each DataSet using custom attributes in vSphere.

I should have figured out this part before writing the integration! I can't figure out the command and from what I've read it's not possible.

Thoughts?

Hi,

Yes, its possible. You can use the below command to add the same.

dfpm dataset add [ -D ] [ -N <node-name> ] <dataset-name-or-id>

{ [ <volume-name-or-id> ] | [ <qtree-name-or-id> ] |

[ <ossv-dir-name-or-id> ] | [ <storage-system-name-or-id> ] |

[ <host-name-or-id> ] |

[virtualization-object-name-or-id] } ...

I thought that command was creating a dataset.
