      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;When a customer creates LUN's in volumes the same size as the volume and I know this is not usually best practices, how do they keep the alerts from coming through that their volumes are full.&amp;nbsp; They know this, but don't want to get aleated to it. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Set your volume space guarantee to none and grow it so that it's larger than the LUN.&amp;nbsp; It won't ever take up anymore space out of your aggregate since you've only got the LUN out there.&amp;nbsp; Leave the LUN space reservation enabled.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Obviously, this is only safe if you're never planning on taking snapshots.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;One was is to group all those volumes containing luns under one resource group in DFM and don't configure an alarm for that group.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The above one will not help if either alarm based on the volume full event or event severity of error or warning is set at global level.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Another was is to change the event severity to normal or informational, but other really volume full event will also have the same severity.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;adai&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
