In DFM 3.7 looking at the snapshot detail report, the dependency column is empty for all volumes contained in vFilers. The command line using vfiler run to access the snap list for volumes inside a vFiler does return the correct dependency (snapvault, busy, etc.). The NMC/Provisioning Manager has the same unfortunate behavior.

Is this fixed in 3.8? If not, is it on the roadmap?

thanks,

Sean Murphy

Using 3.7.1. When looking at dependency for volume in vfiler0, I can see dependency in OM/Prov Mgr. When looking at volume in any other vfiler, snapshot dependencies are not available.

I am able to confirm depedency using CLI.

Sean

By dfm service list.

Do check for the event "Management Station: Not Enough Free Space" because of which monitoring could have been stopped.

Also check if the volume is not deleted ? If it is deleted, data is not colleted for such objects.

regards

adai
