Problem Assigning Resources Manually in Unified Manager (DFM)

Hello

We use UM 5.1

I have a dataset with a protection policy for backups which works well

I want to change this to a policy for backup and mirror

I have already got the mirror relationship which was created directly on my filer in the CLI so i want to "assign resources manually" in UM

however when I try and do this I get the following error (attached). Is there anything I can do to get the dataset to work with my existing snapmirror? I dont want to have to re-create it as its over 1TB!

Hi Will,

For existing relationships, you need to go to external relationships, select the existing relationship and run the import wizard

Thanks for the advice. I was being stupid!

for anyone elses benefit you still need to change the protection policy to include a mirror. it will error but allow you to finish the wizard.

The import from external relationships and you can select the Backup and Mirror part of the dataset and import it properly

This really helps me out so thanks
