ops manager management console not showing any info

Hi All

I have installed ops manager 3.8.1. working all fine from HTML infrace. when I download Management console and set it up, I could not see anything.it detects hosts but no data...

I have assgned all the permisions including perf permisions but still no diffrence!!

can anyone please suggest any hints

also Perf Status: host-transport-incorrect!!

Go to the dfm server and execute the following cli for your filers.

dfm host diag <filername-or-id>

At the end of the output you will find some thing like this.

Performance Advisor Checklist
perfAdvisorEnabled     Passed
hostType               Passed
hostRevision           Passed
hostLogin              Passed
perfAdvisorTransport   Failed (perfAdvisorTransport set to httpOnly, but host uses https)

Go to NMC->setup->Host->Edit and change the "perfAdvisorTransport" to what ever the host uses in this case https.

After that you wlll see the status for the datacollection column going to green, it take 15min to start showing data when collecting for the first time..

Hi Adai,

I, too am having this issue. Some filers are showing stats from some filers but not others are showing no stats. The only thing I have changed recently is the ping method. I have changed this to ICMP only from HTTP. Have you any idea on this?

If i run the host diag then the test below passes.

perfAdvisorTransport
