Hi All,

I wanted to know the reason behind the change in how to create shares. In previous versions, when you created a share, you could create a folder when you were browsing the volume.

In the OnCommand version, you have to create a qtree in order to have a folder name you want. Was this an internal decision to benefit qtrees or am I missing something?

System Manager (with the option to create a folder below):

OnCommand:

do we have to create a qtree to mimic a folder? or do we have to use the command line to create the share (no need for qtree)?

thank you in advance!

regards,
