separate DFM instance for cluster mode / 7 mode

We have a DFM 5.1 server monitoring our 7 mode systems today. We are planning to go to a new setup of cluster mode in the next couple of months. Questions

- Can this existing DFM server manage the new cluster mode stuff

- If not then do we need a separate instance of DFM running for cluster mode alone.

-When we install the new DFM and choose cluster mode during the time of install , can this DFM manage the 7 mode controllers?

Beginning with OnCommand Unified Manager 5.1, the modes are separate and require separate servers. 7-Mode and clustered Data ONTAP systems cannot be managed from a single server.

No. Starting OCUM 5.1 it can only manage 7Mode or cluster Mode and not both.

- If not then do we need a separate instance of DFM running for cluster mode alone.

Yes, Install OCUM 5.1 in cluster Mode.

No. As said earlier it can manage only either of this and not both.
