I am testing WFA 3.0 for approval point ,

Can send test email from WFA config but not getting email from running workflow

for WFA approval point email notification

is it possible to add custom message about workflow pending approval in email

How to add current workflow info in Approval Point (current variables/user input of work flow )

or how to include current workflow user input in approval email ?

we have WFA 2.2 upgraded to 3.0 build 2729076

Refer to the workflow Developers guide of WFA 3.0, Refer page 37 and 38.

Approval point examples are in predefined workflows You can open the following predefined workflows in the Designer to understand how approval points are used:

• Remove a Clustered Data ONTAP Volume

• Controller and shelf upgrade of a HA pair

• Migrate Volumes

How to add current workflow info in Approval Point (current variables/user input of work flow )

or how to include current workflow user input in approval email ?

if its possible to to add comment and variables in comment box

if this comment box centent is what will be in wfa approval email ?

I can test wfa test email works ok

workflow with approval point works ok without any comment

but workflow approval point without any comment doesnt send email ,I can see its waiting for approval in execution status

user account has notifications enabled and is non ldap account

if any email alert will be sent for ldap account and non ldap account

I am unable to update ldap account and Add new user only gives option to add local account and not ldap account

This was WFA 2.2 upgraded to 3.0 and wfa2.2 database imported

Thanks for your mail.

The content is not sent via email.

It appears only in the Execution Status. ( Execution->Execution Status-> (See last column) Approval Point Comments.

but workflow approval point without any comment doesnt send email -->This should not be the case. Make sure

that you have clicked on "Workflow Execution waiting for approval" in "Administration->Account Settings" screen.

I tried with a non-ldap account and it worked fine with me.

How do I trouble shoot no emails for approval point

WFA test email works ok

Also if any way to add content about workflow/ data in the wfa approval email to users who have option to get email for approvals
