Performance Advisor (DFM 5.2 7-Mode) doesn't show perf data

Hi there,

a customer of mine moved an Oracle DB to a new aggregate via host-/application-based copy. The DB lies in FC-LUNs.

The new volume, qtrees and LUNs were discovered by DFM/OCUM (Version 5.2R1 7-Mode).

Now the problem: Performance Advisor shows perf data for the volume, but neither for qtrees nor LUNs.

I ran the command "dfm perf data enable" (pls. see screenshot), but still no data.

Can someone give me a hint, how to get the perf data?

PA starts collecting the data when the credentials are set properly for the filer in NMC and in NMC the “Data collection” status would change to Green.

Was the “Data collection” status was shown Green or RED?

Also the following PA parameters should be passed for the filer

hostType Passed

hostRevision Passed

hostLogin Passed

perfAdvisorTransport Passed

we can get the status of these parameters via "dfm host diag <id of the filer>

whether the credentials are set properly for the filerin NMC ?

and in NMC the “Data collection” status would change to Green if PA starts collecting the data. ?

Is it 7-mode filer or a cluster?

Please let us know the answers for the above questions.

Whether the PA instance of luns and qtrees are shown?

Command to know the instances of luns and qtree

dfm perf data describe -v qtree <filerid>

dfm perf data describe -v lun <filerid>

Please provide the outputs of the above command.

Next step:

TSC need to verify the zapi response of the filer to know the counter values.

Depending on the respone of the zapi, we can segrate whether its ONATP or OCUM issue.
