Why No NetApp Management Console for Cdot 8.3?

We where using management console for restore of single files from remote (snapvault).

Our snapvault destination is at another site and dont have access to all the different networks , so there is no easy way to share and map access to the remote snapshots.

With the old management console this was an easy GUI who worked.

So i really miss an gui solution to do SFR both from local snapshot and remote snapshot.

Anyone knows of a solution , i'm familiar with the comvault solution

Hi pal,

a similar funcionality can be achived by using Unified Manager 6.3 combined with WFA 3.1.

Once those tools are coupled (it's an easy and documented task), pre-canned WFA workflows are exposed for consumption by Unified Manager.

With that you have the ability manage data protection, incl. restore, from within the UM web UI (see screen-shots).
