Grafana showing No Metrics - #NetApp Harvest

I do have an issue which i believe should be fairly easy but i cant seem to figure out what the problem is

I had a grafana dashboard that worked with my Cdot systems and had performance metrics as expected.

I now added my old 7 mode systems -

graphite has the objects for the old systems showing up and i can even see some metrics in the graph

but when i check in grafana, these old 7 mode systems show No data points

Hi @sksegha

I am on holiday from an iPad so please pardon any typos.

First thing, the metrics path and dashboards are different between the two modes. From your logs it looks like you have set graphite_root explicitly because 7mode should be under perf7 not perf as it shows. To fix just set the two root parameters to have a value of default and restart the poller. Then after a few minutes using the dashboards with 7-mode in the title you should see some graphs. You can then use rm on your graphite server to delete the old metrics directory

Second thing, I noticed you have a polling interval of 300s. This is fine but make sure your graphite storage-schemas.conf also expects this frequency. If not, the roll up to less precise archives can not work as you might expect; Google for xfilesfactor for more.

Hello,

i have the same issue as the thread starter.

we don't see any data since 2016-04-21.

all services are started.

what i see in the log file, that the connection to the Graphite server is refused, how can we fix this?

The logs show:

Cannot establish/maintain a connection to the Graphite server [localhost:2003/tcp]: Connection refused

So you need to check your Graphite server to see if the carbon-cache process is running. If it's not, which is what I suspect, you can start it using 'service carbon-cache start' if using a normal install, or an OVA install its "service graphite start"
