OnCommand Core webui service won't start 5.0.1 Linux

Any tips on getting webui started? It shows not started, no errors on start (even says started) but isn't started. I tried the heapsize change from a KB (was a windows kb but still tried it and doesn't make a difference). I've rebooted, changed memory and still no webui. It is a new Linux VM and for test/demo so not urgent...but not sure where to look or if I need a linux module or something else I am missing.

[root@localhost ~]# dfm service start webui

Service: webui started.

[root@localhost ~]# dfm service list

sql: started

webui: not started

http: started

eventd: started

monitor: started

scheduler: started

server: started

watchdog: started

Hi Scott,

Can you give some more info like,

what flavor or linux ?

How much memory and CPU

Is the memory reserved or allocated ?

Also can you check the jetty.log under the log folder for any errors ?

I’m not running an oncommand supported linux, but the equivalent of one since a VM demo…can’t open a case for that reason but should be the same as RHEL. 4GB RAM and 2 CPUs. There is no jetty.log but the log does show a PID for webui starting. But webui is not running but does say it starts.
