Hi,

We upgraded our FAS2220 from 8.1.2 7-mode to 8.2.5. In the way we have lost the options of LUN, protocols iscsi... in the OnCommand 3.1.3

It seems related to the licenses. The license command responds "No licenses are installed" but before it showed all the ones we had with 8.1.2

Thanks in advance.

Hi, this problem maybe two fold:

Starting in Data ONTAP 8.2 all license keys are 28 characters in length. With an upgrade existing licenses should be unaffected, however if you reapply a license then you must use one of the new ones. The new 28 character licenses for the systems can be found on the MySupport site under My Support > Software Licenses.

It may also be down to supported versions of OnCommand.

For ONTAP 8.2.5 only the following OnCommand versions are supported:

OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package 5.2.2 P2 7-Mode

NetApp Management Console 3.3.3

http://mysupport.netapp.com/matrix/imt.jsp?components=77623;&solution=276&isHWU

Hopefully this helps.

Cheers,

Grant.

Hi,

The solution: Technical Support asked me for OS and Java version. Also collect a OnCommand System Manager “Support Bundle”. After that, they have opened an non-technical case and send me license keys.

Cheers
