Data Migration from one OCUM 7.3 system to aother 7.3 System

Hello,

I have a Customer running OCUM 7.3 monitoring about 10 clusters. They are going thru a re-org and need to move some of these clusters to a new OCUM system due to administrave changes.

My question is they want to retain the history of these systems they want to move so if they build a new OCUM server is it possible to migrate date from one 7.3 Ocum database to another 7.3 OCUM database?

I am aware that there is a migration option going from 7.1 to 7.2 since all is combined in one database in 7.2.

Not sure if anyone has done this or if it is posslbe.

The supported way is only via full restore from the UM command line (it's using pretty big batch file for commands to run before and after the restore)

They can later drop from each of the OCUM''s the non needed clusters.

The 7.1 to 7.2 migration you referred above is to migration the performance data from 7.1 OPM instance to 7.2 OCUM instance right? What you need here is to leverage the backup and restore from one 7.3 system to another.
