Hi guys

I was collecting info from Windows physical servers using OneCollect, so this message in red popped out when attempting to do so:

Windows collector: unexpected WMI exception opening connection - <class 'pywintypes.com_error'>, (-2147352567, 'Exception occured.', (0,'SWbemLocator', 'Call was canceled by message filter.', None, 0, -2147418110), None) (OLE:0, WMI: 0)

we tried domain\user and user, which one is correct btw?

Also one Solaris:

Error executing hostname on 10.1.1.82 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 0: invalid start byte

Please tell me how to proceed.

Regards

Hi There,

Please check your network firewall to avoid the windows error.

Regarding Solaris collection issue, it would be easy for to troubleshoot if log files are shared with OneCollect team. Log files are available @<homedir>/OneCollectData/LogFiles.

OneCollect Support team: ng-OneCollect-Support@netapp.com

Regards,

Sona
