Does DFM use the local MTA installed on the system to transport mail? I find that it is not the case, as my Postfix relayhost is correctly configured, however DFM says this:

May 08 10:34:04 [dfmeventd:ERROR]: alarm 2, event 4821: failed to deliver email alert xxxx@xxxx.edu

How can I set a relayhost for DFM?

Thank you

I'm pretty sure you just put the mail host within the standard setup options of DFM. For a local relay it depends whether it'll respond to "localhost" or if you need to use the FQDN of the localhost.
