Performance Advisor Host/Group Checkmarks

All of our hosts appear to have been set up correctly with data collections enabled, however a few of them have checkmarks on the storage system in the PA dashboard.

What is the significance of the checkmark and how do I enable it for all hosts?

If I understood your question correctly checkmarks are thresholds. If

you set threshold on a storage system and if it breaches event will

generate and dashboard chart will shows the red color with value.

Dashboard always shows the top 5 objects at current time.

What version of Operations Manager are you using?

Hi:

We are using Ops Mgr 3.8.1. I see thresholds are enabled for a group of systems. Within that groups some of the systems have checkmarks on the storage system in the PA dashboard and some do not. The ones that do are running 7.3.2, and the ones that do not are running 7.2.4. Is there any significance to the difference in ONTAP versions and how PA reports thresholds in the dashboard?

There should be no difference in threshold processing between 7.3.2 and

7.2.4 filers. Are you sure that thresholds are set on 7.2.4 systems too?
