Hello,

Inside the DFM database's lunView, the lunSerialNumber field which I believe is part of WWN doesn't seem to have the vendor part in it. When I did an OUI lookup (go to http://standards.ieee.org/develop/regauth/oui/public.html and search for NetApp) two different IDs turned up. In our environment, I noticed that the ID seems to be: 00A098. I am trying to build custom reports using data from the Sybase DFM database and system performance data -- for which I will have to map the WWN from system side (that has the 00A098 part) to the WWN on the Sybase DFM database side (that doesn't have the vendor part). For this purpose, is it safe to assume that the vendor part is always going to be a constant 00A098?

Thanks,

Arun
