Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails

On WFA 2.2 server, I have started getting this error on acquisition of my OCUM 5.2 server.

Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails (`storage`.`nfs_export`, CONSTRAINT `fk_storage_nfs_export_qtree_id` FOREIGN KEY (`qtree_id`) REFERENCES `qtree` (`id`) ON DELETE SET NULL)

Troubleshooting so far:

I reinstalled the wfa database user on OCUM server

I did a dfm purge on events

I did an backup and restore of the dfm database

None of these things seem to work. Any ideas or suggestions on what to do next?

Hi Patrick,

Can you pls open a case with NetApp Support ? BTW is this is OCUM 5.2 7Mode right ?

ESP against the bug 835921 ?

You are facing this issue due to a stale or duplicate entry in your OCUM database.

Hi patrick,

As adai has mentioned, it is because of a duplicate entry in DFM DB.

If you can raise a case and upload the WFA ASUP and DFM DB backup, i will help you out.

Yep. it's OCUM 5.2 7-mode.
