Trouble connecting to PA 4.0.2D2 data source with WFA 2.0.1

When trying to add PA 4.0.x as a data source, I recieve the error "Failed connecting to host <host/IP> using both http and https"

My PA server is the same as my OM server... However, my OCUM data source is working just fine.

Not sure if there is something I'm missing here.

For Performance Advisor, have you created an OnCommand Unified Manager user account

with a minimum role of GlobalRead? See the OnCommand Unified Manager Online Help for details.

Are u trying to connect using the DB credentials that u used in OCUM Data Source acquisition even for Performance Data acquisition? PA data acquisition needs login credentials to the OCUM server and not DB login credentials.

You are correct. I was using the DB creds created for OM Data Source acq.

I have moved passed this error and onto another however... It looks like PA acquisition is taking >600 seconds and timing out. -

"Command '$Uri = @($input)[0] ; C:\Program` Files\NetApp\WFA\jboss\..\PoSH\profile.ps1;Invoke-WfaCommand -Script './performance3814374573430959796.ps1 '' timed out"

I've tried this a few times without success... Is there any way to extend the timeout for the collection to a higher value or any other suggestions?

You can edit this Data source, it has a field Timeout (sec) . By default it is shown as 600, you can increase this value and try it.
