What is the maximum number of Controllers which can be managed by OnCommand System Manager.

We don't impose maximum limit on the number of controllers/clusters that can be managed by System Manager.

You can add any number of controllers/clusters to System Manager interface. But the management is one controller/cluster at a time.

We have seen ~50-60 controllers being managed by Customers using System Manager.

I'm currently managing 86 controllers through OnCommand System manager with no signs of any issues.

The maximum number is 250, I got this information from NetApp SE.

Is this limit enforce by OCSM, or is it just arbitrary number because there has to be some limit? ☺

Hi,

We do not impose any limits. Anyway SM only allows you to manage 1 controller at a time. though you can open mulitple controllers in different tabs.
