I would like to now if there is a limitation of number of job running with DFM/PM 4.0

Yes, in PM 100 is the queue limit for update jobs and 25 for baseline jobs.

Yes it is, there is a hidden option to do it however I wouldn't do that as every protection job requires some amount of memory and I remember when we had more than 40 PM jobs running it took my DFM system to it's knees after eating all 4Gb of RAM.

So it's better to not have all the PM jobs running at a given time and 100 seems to be upper limit of it, unless you have 16 cores nehlam processor with 64GB of memory on your DFM server.

Hi,

My DFM server Linux DFM 4.X

2 proc Intel Xeon /2.133GHz 4 cores with 8 thread each

RAM 128Go

It is enought to increase number of jobs

I have arround 400 Data-set to manage schedule during the night,

I need to transfert close 800 SV relationship

A have many policies and I does not want create any more policies because I need modify my schedule to smooth backups

Do you know if it's possible to start jobs in queue vs Running immediately
