      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Balance queries the Windows or Linux operating system about partition alignment, so it works regardless of the device type. The alignment analysis works on physical servers or virtual guests.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One limitation is Balance does not yet understand 'Optimized datastores' created by VSC. Balance will continue to mark these LUNs as misaligned, even though they are not, relative to the back end storage. This will be corrected in a future release.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
