How does OnCommand Report handle duplicate Resource Groups?

IHAC who has multiple DFM servers. A resource group exists on each DFM server with the exact same name (i.e. "SAP" or "Exchange"). How does OnCommand Report handle this scenario when it extracts the data and does its ETL? When the customer goes to create custom reports by Resource Group, what will this look like? Will it only show one instance of the resrouce group, or will each indivial resrouce group be listed even though their names are identical.

One instance of each resource group with all resources under the one group.

How does OnCommand Report make this decision? Based on the actual textual string name of the resource group or based on the DFM object ID number for the resource group?
