Sending SNMP traps to third party software

Hi - Testing sending of snmp traps to Tivoli. For this Do we only load install_folder\misc\dfm.mib file or any other mib files (ontap mib)?

Tivoli team loaded only dfm mib and getting error message "Cannot find module (NETWORK-APPLIANCE-MIB): At line 26 in ./dfm.mib"

Any idea?

You need to put the file netapp.mib into the misc directory as well which is located on a storage controller at /etc/mib/netapp.mib.

Hi Pasha,

There is a FAQ on DFM sending traps to third party tools like HP Open-View.

Below is the link to the faq.

It must be applicable to Tivoli too.
