topic file clone speed in Software Development Kit (SDK) and API Discussions

I've got a process running to create a clone of a directory. Right now I'm running file-list-directory-iter and then iterating over each with clone-create. This works well, but isn't as fast as it needs to be for directories with many files. Does anyone know a better way to clone a folder? This would be sub volume or qtree.
