Out of memory issue - perf-object-get-instances

We used the API "perf-object-get-instances" to retrieve ONTAP data. Our customer is getting out of memory error. Error: Not enough memory to get instances for volume. Use perf-object-get-instances-iter-* calls and/or ask for specific counters to limit the amount of data retrieved.

As per the Netapp BUG 698743, this issue is fixed in the ONTAP 8.2.1 (GA). Our customer is also in ONTAP 8.2.1version and still he is getting the issue.

So I would like to know the fix you made will work only if we used iterative APIs or it will work with the normal API (perf-object-get-instances) too? Could you please some one confirm on this?
