cDot 8.3 simulator download (for vSphere ESX) without vmx file

Hi there,

we just downloaded the simulator file. After open the tar file, we found that the VM vmx file is not in the package. The file is necessary to import/register the VM.

Anyone know how to get the missing vmx file ?

Are you sure you downloaded the correct version?

I downloaded the 8.3 simulator earlier this week and the DataONTAP.vmx file was there.

The download was from http://mysupport.netapp.com/NOW/download/tools/simulator/ontap/8.X/, where says:

Simulate ONTAP 8.3 for VMware ESX

FYI:

The 8.3 link for customer does not have the vmx file. We got a link for 8.3RC1 from iSAM. That download has the vmx file.
