    <description>&lt;P&gt;While we wait for the official 9.2 simulator to be posted to the tool chest, if you want to run 9.2RC1 in a vsim you may need to adjust a setting or two to get the workstation version to boot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the workstation version, 5gb of ram doesn't seem to be enough. &amp;nbsp;Adding an additional 128mb or 256mb to the VM should allow it to boot. &amp;nbsp;Alternatively, you can keep it at 5gb if you move the pci hole by adding this line to the virtual machine's .vmx file:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;pciHole.start = "1024"&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;The ESX version defaults to 8gb of ram, so that build&amp;nbsp;should run 9.2RC1 as-is.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
