    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello. Please we're trying to set up the HA interconnect on a FAS2552 system but after connecting the cables between both e0e and e0f ports of both controllers we are still unable to bring the HA interconnect up. The cf status command shows each node can see the partner, however, "takeover is disabled because of reason (interconnect error)". This is a 7-mode system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hello Divine&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"takeover is disabled because of reason (interconnect error)"&lt;BR /&gt;usually means Hardware failure, so just do the usual troubleshooting&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Verify the interconnect cables are connected correctly between nodes.&lt;BR /&gt;Reseat the interconnect connection one at a time.&lt;BR /&gt;Replace the cables&lt;BR /&gt;reseat motherboard.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that doesn't work then bounce the connection&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Node&amp;gt; priv set diag&lt;BR /&gt;Node*&amp;gt; ic link off 0&lt;BR /&gt;Node*&amp;gt; ic link off 1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that doesn't work then probably there is a faulty componen&lt;/P&gt;</description>
