Hello All,

We have recently been awarded a tender to replace a customer's pair of mirrored CDOT appliances. While we await delivery of the new kit I'm wanting investigating the migration approach.

The customer's existing appliances are running CDOT 9.3P21 and I'd like to simulate a migration path in the time I have available. I'm aware of this post and that 9.3 is out of support. Could anyone assist me with a link to 9.3 simulator that I might validate the migration path?

Unless you receive the simulator_package from someone. You could also do the following to achieve your target version:

1) Downlaod Simulator 9.5 (which is still available)
https://mysupport.netapp.com/api/tools-service/toolsbinary/simulate-ontap/download/vsim-netapp-DOT9.5P6-cm_nodar.ova

2) Perform Downgrade from 9.5 > 9.4 > 9.3: ( I think downgrade is granular)

Using the Package 9.4 & 9.3P21:

Thank you for that suggestion Ontapforrum - I've downloaded the images and 9.5P6 simulator. Next to install and perform the downgrades.

To download the ONTAP Simulator using a NetApp account you need to be either a:

NetApp Customer; or
NetApp Partner.

Note: Guest users will not be able to download ONTAP Simulator
