Hi all

I have 2 8.1.1 simulators, and I'm trying add both of them to be managed by OnCommand Core(DFM), but looks like I couldn't add more than 1 simulator.

sim1: andyl-6 10.128.140.146

sim2: andyl-10 10.128.140.250

I added the 1st sim successfully, but when I tried to add the 2nd one, it prompted me that the 1st one is already there.

Even if I run "dfm host delete" to remove the 1st sim and tried again to add the 2nd sim, it was a success, but still only the 1st sim was added.

There is only one way to get rid of it, by running "dfm host delete -f", but no matter what I tried, still only one simulator is able to be added, so is this the expected behavior?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

The simulators get installed with the same serial number, so you have to change one of them to use a different id. See: https://communities.netapp.com/videos/2513 Then you'll be able to add multiple sims to OC.

Craig
