Also make sure your system has enough memory. Lastly, make sure you are extracting the files with 7-zip.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; You should not have to change the Serial or SYSID for a single 7-mode instance, but always need to do a disk init (menu 4). &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When am trying to run the data ontap simulator&amp;nbsp; 8.1.1.7mode on a VM Player&amp;nbsp; it is not starting up. I followed the initial steps as mentioned in the Guide and changed the Serial number and SYS ID but after pressing CTRL+C i get the error. Error is attached.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
