Where does NetApp position itself with the new Hitachi Storage Systems? Guys Need Your Ideas and Opinions??

Hello Experts,

I am in a position in evaluating NetApp products, both controllers and software features (especially on VMWare and Microsoft CIFS / SMB integration) with the new Hitachi storage Systems like HNAS3080, HUS150 and HUS110 arrays and the upcoming new ones. Also thier software features like "Hitachi Application Protector", BlueArc® JetClone, and high-speed object-based replication BlueArc JetMirror etc.

I also heard that HNAS3080 is having performance capabilities of FAS3270. Is that true?

HNAS is Midrange NAS ,...with capability of 2 node expansion .....let me know wht oyou want to use as..

I would also like to know the primary differences. From what I am able to see online, the connectivity and the standard Hitachi features are key differences.

What is the competitive approach? Key take away and advantages.
