Hi,

Just a technical question:

If I have one network port (1Gb) in use, what would be "normal" throughput for it?

Net in kB/s output from >sysstat, could be example something like 80000kB/s.

I assume that value includes overheads/encoding as well, so where does rest of the

bandwidth go, or what is the most common bottleneck? (Simple math is 1Gb = 122070kB)

Is it possible to get example 110MB/s in any circumstances?

Br.

Ismo.
