Hi,

I would really like to start using VSS in Vcenter but the simplest thing "resizing a VMFS datastore" fails with a very strange error Selected Volume Size is too large. I created a fresh 10GB VMFS datastore with VSS and tried to resize it to 20GB. The wizard doesn't argue about not enough disk space. After a few seconds I can see the Netapp datastore... task in Vcenter failing with error:

NetApp datastore property change

Error

Selected volume size is too large; maximum is 14716g. (errno=13115)

In the filer console a similar error is logged:

Provisioning and Cloning Capability 3.2.1: (0) : Exception in resize, bailing out of resizeDatastore. Possible reason : Selected volume size is too large; maximum is 14716g. (errno=13115)

One more thing: Running Vsphere client without local admin rights doesn't seem to work with VSS? Do I really need local admin rights?
