topic Key differences between VSC in 7 mode vs CDOT? in VMware Solutions Discussions

i was just doing a lab for the VSC in CDOT and noticed there is quite a lot more in the console than what I see in my vsphere 5.5 environment. Is this because of the features are not available in 7 mode? I have the VSC installed on my vCenter server and although the plugin is in the client, I do not have the same options in the web client. I will have to check the version of VSC I'm running when I get home tomorrow.
