Snapdrive 6.3 cannot connect to SMVI

Hi,

I am trying to install snapdrive and get into problems when I try to connect to SMVI server (vsc 2.1)
SMVI is installed on the vcenter server and it appears to be working.
During install, I add name (or IP) and use default port and I get a failed to connect SMVI server message.

Any ideas to what can be causing this? I did not set up the vSC plugin

I have admin rights on vcenter server and am using same accounts to install snapdrive

I am trying to install SnapDrive 7.1.1 onto Windows Server 2012 and I too am received the same error. I can't seem to find any Firewall issues.

I hope somebody is able to assist.

Try to install the "Backup and Recovery" component of the VSC.
