VVOLs is only supported with vCenter 6.0. By default, there are 3 system created policies. You can create new SCPs via the SCP wizard.

I am trying to setup vvol in my lab environment. I have a FAS3240 in cluster mode (8.2.2)

I have vSphere/vCenter 5.5 (2 hosts in a cluster)

I have iscsi and nfs available/working

I have deployed the VSC 6.0 and it shows up correctly in the vSphere web console.

I have deployed the VASA ova, assigned an IP and registered it with VSC.

I have installed VAAI on the two hosts I am working on.

I am not seeing the VASA Provider when I right click on a host, only the VSC. I am also not seeing anything but the gold/bronze/silver in the storage capability profiles. Is there something I am missing?
