VSC 6.1 icon not shown in the webclient

Greetings - just upgraded to vsc 6.1 from 6.0. The 'Netapp" icon /plugin is not shown in the webclient anymore.

I have tried to re-register (registered successfully)

I have restarted the services

logged off and back on the web client

and still no icon is shown.

I also tried to register with using aas an IP address to the vcenter.

On the thick client i notice that the Netapp storage does go through discover but I am anble to use the tool at all as it is not shown in the webclient at all.

In the thick client the plugin is shown as "Enabled"

I also tried re-install - still no go.

Our vcenter is an appliance running version 6.0

Any hints tips or tricks?

try a VCenter reboot. This was my solution.

Have you tried following the troubleshooting steps in the cookbook (found here)? You may also want to try this method.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing the other day. I rebooted the vcenter appliance and I was good to go..

I will provide you a kudo anyway 😉
