hello together,

what is working:

restoring an entire Maschine or Disk, but we cannot restore single files from an Backup via VSC.

When i tried to attach a disk

NETAPP VSC -> attach virtual disk i always get

No backups are available whose disk can be attached

I know that there was an option with SingleFileRestore in older versions, but attach a disk from a backup would solve my problems.

any idea how to get this working ?

We have Ubuntu and Windows Virtual Machines

thanks and regards

Would you explain what this means?

I'm having this same problem and the only way I'm able to perform a single file restore is to mount a backup and dig the VMDK out of the cloned datastore myself.
