E5760 with DE460C shelf cabling

Hi,

 

Does anyone know how E5760 cabling with 5x DE460C?  Daisy chain the shelves or use dual stack cabling, also need set the shelf ID?

Shelves will auto-assign an ID,  but you can manually change them in the software if you want. 

 

 

As far as cabeling... there's no doc that i've found that shows exactly what you're looking to do,  but it follws the same basic example as the second one on page 74:

I checked HWU and e5760 max stack size is 4...so shall i need connect the shelves with 2 stacks?

Yep.   the 6GB IOMs allow for 7 in a stack.

DE460C is IOM12 and HWU said max stack size is 4.

Yep,  i was just stating that with the 6GB IOM you can do 7.
