single volume maximum scale out/up

I'm glad to writing the post.

 

I have some few question, Can I mount an 8pb volume to single directory? (using nfs, maximum volume mount size)

 

and in fas or aff system. how do i know my single volume's maximum scale out or up

Yes, absolutely.  The feature you are looking for is called FlexGroup.

"A FlexGroup volume is a single namespace that is made up of multiple constituent member volumes and that is managed and acts like a NetApp FlexVol volume to storage administrators. Files in a FlexGroup volume are allocated to individual member volumes and are not striped across volumes or nodes."
