Solved: Fas 2020 cannot comunicate with laptop

Hi ,

i have a fas 2020 and i am trying to connect with my laptop.

I use 'System setup' software , version 3.1.655.0 and the ip of my laptop is 10.10.10.1 with sm 255.0.0.0 .

i push the 'Discover' button from the software and the i power on the fas2020 but nothing hapens.

Can anybody help me ?

And one more question , what i have to do in order to make factory default setting to fas2020 ?

Uhh.. no.

Unfortunately it is a very old product, and to make things easier for current customers, we have archived all of our materials relating to it.

At some point, you will need license keys to make it serve data, and if you don't have those, it's a brick.

System Setup only works with brand new systems, and then only with FAS2240 and later systems.

You will need to reconfigure the system using the serial port. 9600 8N1
