SnapCenter 4.2 - Verify System Databases Backup

Hi. We are new to SnapCenter having previously used SMSQL for our SQL backups. In SnapCenter 4.2, I have a policy to backup only the system databases. When I run the job using that policy, SnapCenter complains saying it can't verify system databases. Is this true? Seems absurd that I can't run a verification against those important databases.

Hi Erick,

The SnapCenter 4.2 Release notes confirm that it does not support the verification of SQL Server system databases.

Verification of SQL Server system database is not supported
SnapCenter clones the databases to perform verification operation. SnapCenter cannot clone system
databases and therefore verification of system databases is not supported.
