Hi there,
after enabling monitoring via SNMP, error in red indicates: "..... because SNMP subsystem is not running."
It appears that snmpd on AVA-c4 in AWS is stopped by default. What needs to be done to start it and enable it automatically upon reboot?
tia,
Oliver

Hi,
The SNMP service can be enabled manually via the command line. SSH to the AltaVault appliance, and issue the commands:
enable
configure terminal
snmp-server enable
You may refer to other SNMP commands in the AltaVault CLI guide, available as part of the AltaVault documentation available from the support website.
