What port is primary interface corresponding to? Is it different to data interfaces, e0a, or e0b?

Second question:
Can Virtual Altavault appliance be created on a NFS datastore, supported? I can not find such information in documents.

Thanks,

Hi,

Primary is indeed it's own interface, separate from e0a-e0c (data interfaces). You can tell which one is which by reviewing the Configure > host interfaces and Configure > data interfaces pages respectively.

Virtual AltaVault can be deployed against any storage that the hypervisor supports as long as it has sufficient space as documented in the AltaVault virtual appliance install guide.

Christopher
